Alabama House Speaker Mike Hubbard appeared on CNN’s Newsroom this morning to discuss the recent attacks on Chick-fil-A’s first amendment rights. The video of his appearance can be seen below along with a message from his Facebook page.

Health I think I missed the part where CFA told gays they could not come in to the restaurant. Until that happens, you have no argument. Therefore, I believe it is you who should STFU. But congrats on assisting in record profits for CFA, whoops.
So let’s get this straight. The bad guys are the ones who want to stop Chick-fil-a from holding an entire segment of the population down as second class citizens? I guess you’re ok with businesses discriminating against not only homosexuals but also single mothers? If righties made ANY logical sense maybe the country would listen. Until then STFU.
Yet again, the business does not discriminate against homosexuals/single mothers. They serve them with a smile every time, just like everybody else. The owner donates to a Christian group that promotes Christianity and good values (for the most part). That’s what Cathy believes, and good for him. The only “segment of the population” that Chickfila is holding down are the fatties trying to jump the counter because they’ve become insane by deliciousness.
