Education reform is rivaled only by entitlement reform when it comes to the level of demagoguery that defenders of the status quo are willing to engage in. Any hint of reform is met with fierce opposition. When U.S. House Republicans suggest the federal government live within its means, there’s always a left wing group willing to make a video of Paul Ryan rolling grandma off a cliff. And when Alabama Republicans propose common sense education reforms that will introduce accountability and competition into the education system, AEA boss Henry Mabry is there to play his role as the left wing demagogue on the state level.

And now it appears Mabry has found a new ally to join him in his campaign to maintain the status quo: Christian Coalition of Alabama Chairman Randy Brinson. Brinson sent out an email blast last week (which you can read below) that is strikingly similar to the disingenuous, anonymous ads that started popping up on Facebook over a month ago. He takes personal shots at Gov. Bentley’s education policy advisor Emily Schultz (all in Christian love, I’m sure), and even suggests that charter schools will open the door for Muslims to infiltrate our schools with sharia law. Of course, anybody with a brain realizes that would be illegal and unfeasible under the charter schools bill.
To the uninitiated, the Christian Coalition’s involvement may seem strange and misguided. But for those who have been around Alabama politics for some time, it comes as no surprise. Alabama politicos will likely remember Brinson as the Christian leader who supported passage of gambling legislation during the last legislative quadrennium. Evidence produced later showed that a company owned by Brinson received $300,000 from gambling boss Milton McGregor.
I started receiving emails from insiders last week noting that Mabry and Brinson were spending a lot of time together at the State House. Casual conversation between friends? Maybe so. Purely coincidence that Brinson sent out a sensationalized email in opposition to the charter schools bill shortly thereafter? Could be.
What we know for sure is that conservative Christians like Chuck Colson and conservative organizations like the Heritage Foundation are just two of the countless examples we could point to of conservatives leading the charge for school choice. What we don’t know is if there is more than what meets the eye to the Christian Coalition’s sudden opposition to education reform.
The AEA which is the Alabama Charter of the NEA, is doing the bidding of the U.S. Department of Education, which is controlled by the NEA, and this government agency and the bureaucracy has effectively dumbed down and brainwashed several generations of children, and as a result, today, the USA spends more per pupil on so-called education than any country in the world, except Belgium, and today we are Number 30 in the world as to public school academic outcomes, trailing many third world countries. In 1966, the USA was rated in the top 3 best public school systems in the world and in literacy as a nation. In 1966, most public schools were Totally and Completely Controlled By Local and State Governments. The Feds became involved, created Mandates and a Bureaucracy to Back Up those Mandates, and the result is what we now have: Teachers who do not teach academic skills because they lack academic skills themselves because they went through the same Public School Dumbing Down and Brainwashing Mandated by the Federal Government and the National Teacher Unions. You can apply this formula to anything so called Problem that the Feds Take Over and Build an Empire Building Bureaucracy Around. When the government creates an Agency, Bureau, Commission or Department to deal with any Perceived Problem, not only is the porblem not going to be improved upon, the problem is Guaranateed to Worsen as the new created government bureaucracy Seeks Growth in Size and Power and to do that they have to Create New Problems or New Victims to serve, and each bureaucracy becomes a self-perpetuating Empire, and like all Empires, they become Despotic and Dictatorial, and like all Empires and Despots, they Will Never Willingly Relinquish Power. The AEA just presented that to the state of Alabama and our Legislature Buckled. Case Closed.
I was reading an article earlier today about a bill being introduced in the California legislature that will Mandate that schools in California begin teaching about the positive attributes of Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual, Trans-Gender Operations, and Same Sex Marriages in the first grade. And, that school materials and textbooks have already been written to be published and used in this Brainwashing Operation.
And as goes California, goes the country!!!!!!!!! Do we really want your children or any children being brainwashed and dumbed down? Or do we want them to grow up being taught how to read, write, do arithmetic, good citizens and how to Think For Themselves so that they Choose For Themselves their Political Ideas, Lifestyles, etc.?
California has long been known for the Lunacy of Their State and City Governments and the Amount of Socialism that their elected officials love to push on their citizens. Do we really want the Californication Of The Entire Country?
Well, whether we have wanted it or not, the United States Government has Been Falling In Lock Step to California Laws for at least the past 60 years. In the 1950′s and 1960′s, school age kids all over the USA were Required To Take The CAT or California Achievement Tests in the 7th grade, which at that time, that was about the only mandated standardized test around and did not seem so bad, but today, what started out as one test in 7th grade to a system that is giving Dumbed Down and Politically Slanted Standardized Tests at just about every grade from Kindergarten Through Twelfth Grade with many of them being administered over and over between 9th and 12th grade as the students are given basically the same test twice a year from 9th to 12th grade so that they have 8 opportunities to pass a Graduation Exam that is only written at about the 5th or 6th grade level to begin with.
We also got the EPA and Auto Emissions Standards from the Great Socialist State of California, and now, when you buy a new car, you are paying as much as 25 percent more for the car than you ordinarily would have due to all the modifications that have to be made into the cars to satisfy U.S. Government Bureaucrats and Their Regulations Which Originated In California.
California is fiscally bankrupt, and the Californication of the USA has also brought the USA government to the brink of Bankruptcy because the USA government has Mimicked California’s Communist Model of the Nanny State.
And, not only is California Fiscally Bankrupt, they are also Morally Bankrupt and it has all been Manufactured and Created By Their State and Local Governments that, for the most part, are run by Hollywood-Minded Communists, Subversives and Perverts who push Sexual Perversion as a Normal and Natural Lifestyle.
Do you want your Children and Your Country To Be further Californicated?? I for one, do not. And, Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, Maxine Waters, Miller and other Subversives, Criminals, Perverts and Radicals from California are now in the U.S. Congress and are Shoving the Californication of the USA down our throats whether we want it or not, the same as they have shoved it down their own citizens back in California.
It is time to STOP the Cali-Fornication of Our Children and Of Our Country.
