Can I get a second for Hubbard for Governor 2014?

I’d second that for 2018. Bentley somehow seems to remain extremely popular across the state. If the Sept. 18 referendum doesn’t pass it will be interesting to see how that effects him as well as the speaker.

My thoughts exactly. The hubbard machine seems to be expanding.

He was in politico yesterday too http://www.politico.com/playbook/

Being from north Alabama, I don’t know much about Hubbard outside of the few things I see about him in the paper as speaker. It almost seems like national people are more familiar with him than we are up here. The first word that would come to mind about him would be “auburn.” What’s even more interesting is that I would assume the governor would get any national press coming out of alabama.
