It was a low bar. RT @byronyork: Romney came to fight, but bottom line so far is that Obama is vastly better than he was in Denver.

Candy Crowley: part-time debate moderator, full-time Obama defender. #debates

— Mike Hubbard (@SpeakerHubbard) October 17, 2012

Candy Crowley was in the sack for Obama. it was clear in her question selection. remember, SHE elected the questions. and the order.

— Matt Murphy (@mattmurphyshow) October 17, 2012

Does the President truly believe we care more about budget cuts to Big Bird than we do about budget cuts to our men and women in uniform?

— Mike Hubbard (@SpeakerHubbard) October 17, 2012

Aren’t we about 30 minute overdue for a foreign policy Benghazi question? God forbid we put off the Lilly Ledbetter Act, passed 3 years ago

— Jeff Poor (@jeff_poor) October 17, 2012

Candy Crowley is a freaking embarrassing disaster…

— Dale Jackson (@TheDaleJackson) October 17, 2012

Women in the Obama White House make an average of 18% less than men. Leadership by example? #debates

— Mike Hubbard (@SpeakerHubbard) October 17, 2012

IMO Romney flubbed Libya. Got pwned on Rose Garden transcript (even if broader point was right). Should have been easiest answer of night.

“candy, this is important, i need to avoid fast and furious”

— Philip Bryan (@j_philipbryan) October 17, 2012

Well, Obama has used Moral Obligation, Hostage, and Jobs. He is short on Morals and jobs. But yes, he has held our economy hostage. #debates

The words 2nd Amendmemt and “but” should never be used in the same sentence as Obama just did. Guns dont kill people, people kill people,

— Sen Bill Holtzclaw (@billholtzclaw) October 17, 2012

Obama thinks he he says “that is not true” enough, he will convince America. Romney should point this out.

— Matt Murphy (@mattmurphyshow) October 17, 2012

Romney’s pension is big… This is an insult in 2012.

— Dale Jackson (@TheDaleJackson) October 17, 2012

I don’t know how you follow Dale Jackson. I agree with him on most issues but I’ve never seen someone over-tweet like he does. He completed flooded my twitter and I had to unfollow.

It’s a shame that Candy Crowley was the best the media had to offer last night. Maybe I’m just not remembering correctly, but it seems like there was a time when I couldn’t perceive my news people’s political leanings. There’s no question anymore what biases the supposedly unbiased members of the media have.

The 4th estate is but a shadow of its former self.

The Hubbard Crowley tweet won the night. Joey Kennedy in denial, as usual.
